Exploring how warmth, touch, and shared physiology can reconnect people in an individualistic world.
This wearable device warms the wearer’s palm in real time based on another person’s heart rate, creating a quiet but immediate sense of closeness. Built for a physical computing class, it uses simple interactions and bodily signals to encourage moments of connection that feel personal rather than mediated by screens. It turns a vital sign into a shared sensory experience, inviting users to feel intimacy through warmth.

This triad painting and accompanying animation explore the divide between outward presentation and internal tension. Using a pill motif, a confined figure, and soft pastel tones, the work contrasts surface calm with underlying unease. Through both paint and motion, it becomes a study of self and material, tracing how emotion can be expressed and transformed.
